Version 2.6
iAd integration.
To allow us to continue active
development, Terrapad is now iAd
supported on iOS4 devices. All free,
public extensions are ad-supported.
Paying, private or corporate extensions
remain ad-free.
However, public extensions that use to be paying, now also come in an ad-supported flavour and are available for free.

Usability enhancements.
Certain usability enhancements have made
the cut for this version of Terrapad,
notably in the areas of GPS integration,
installing extensions and address search.
Furthermore, on devices that support iOS4 multi tasking, Terrapad supports fast task switching as long as the application remains in active memory.

Delete of imported layers.
You may now delete a previously imported
data layer.
Version 2.5
iPad and iPhone universal
application.
Terrapad can now take advantage of the
greater iPad screen real-estate by
working at native resolution on
iPad.
Shape
file import.
Geographic information can now be
imported into Terrapad using the popular
shape file format. This import procedure
is demonstrated using our publicly
available extensions by limiting the
number of objects that are imported from
a single shape file. Corporate customers
using a licensed extension automatically
benefit from full shape file
import.
Layer and symbology configuration.
You can now turn layers of data on or
off, as well as fine-tune the size and
scale at which symbols are visible for a
given collection of features. For
imported data via shape file, you gain
even more control, with the possibility
to change the icon of a point feature,
line or area width, colour and
transparency.
Version 2.1
Multi-user syncing.
Available immediately to our corporate
Terrapad users, syncing can be enabled to
allow multiple devices to share data
seamlessly, over-the-air.
Performance
improvements.
The map features are now drawn in the
background and do not interrupt your
workflow. You'll notice improved speed
and performance when using the map
intensively (panning, zooming in and
out).
More precision.
Touch precision is now improved when
placing features or editing feature
geometry.
Version 2.0
Map
types.
Change the map type on the fly! You can
use the normal map in addition to the
newer satellite view, hybrid-satellite
where roads are overlaid or the physical
features map.
These new views are helpful in different situations, experiment with the hybrid map in urban areas while using the physical map when you're outside of densely populated areas.

Selection areas.
By double-tapping and holding, then
dragging your finger across the map, you
will create a selection area which can be
interacted on.
You can then list all the map features within the selection area, zoom to the specific area or delete all features in your selection.

KML and CSV export improvements.
The KML and CSV export routines have been
improved with support for joins between
the map features. These joins show up as
nested items in Google Earth or as unique
identifiers in a CSV file.
Extensions.
You are no longer limited to entering
Geotags and Geozones in Terrapad. You can
download and install
extensions
that are relevant to your field of work
or favorite hobby.
Dynamic choice listers.
When using extensions, you'll notice that
certain attributes show up as lists we
call dynamic choice listers.
The items in dynamic choices are managed directly from within the application, with the possibility to rename all features with a given value to another value or to merge a value into another existing value.
